Hi, I wanted just to introduce myself to the rest of you.

I'm 21 with a fiance and young daughter. I work as a self employed Mortgage Broker. I live in the Western Suburbs of Chicago (About 40 miles West of Chicago).

Currently I own a '94 Olds Bravada and plan on purchasing a Ty in April of '04.

You will probably see me asking *lots* of questions here as I am pretty familar with the SyTy line but I am by no means an expert when it comes to any mechanical work.

I am thankful that I could finally complete my registration. I have been activley reading your forums in silence here for about three weeks!

Well thanks for reading and I hope to soon join the elite ranks of you SyTy owners in the near future!

Welcome! Youre picking a great time to buy a Ty. Trucks have been going cheap lately. Make sure you keep an eye on the "trucks for sale" section of the forum. Good Luck.

Thanks for the responses guys! I am not extremely partial on color especially at this moment. I would just be happy to own one that runs in good condition! I have been looking at the Trucks for Sale and other websites and have noticed there are more then about 70 Syclones and Typhoons for sale in the US.

READ READ READ!!!

Use the Search button too. That's why it's there. =) In general, just search for whatever phrase you were going to use as a subject line. I'm not saying there's nothing new out there, but we've sure covered a good portion of it here. Some stuff was lost in board crashes, and sometimes search is just stupid. But for the most part, you should be able to find at least one thread covering just about anything you'll ever need to know about these things.

If you start a thread to ask a new or slightly different question, please post the resolution in the thread. It really sucks when you do a search and find five other people that were having the exact same problem, and there was no solution posted. By closing out a topic with relevant info, it helps anyone who may happen to read that in the future. Think of it as giving back for the knowledge you've received here. =)

Oh yeah, welcome to the club. Once you get yours, it will become your most hated and loved possession.

Yes Invisbill, I agree with you. Nothing can be more frustrating then finding "Your" problem and come to find out that no resolution was given.
