I will plan a meet for the Texas guys hopefully in October whent the weather starts to get a little cooler.Last time I checked there was about 12 syty's in the Austin area.

Welcome syclonejac....where is gainesville ? I spoke with 3 Texas members today (Daron, Jim Duda and Bruce C.) regarding a possible meet in the near future...They all seemed to be down for a central syty sgt only meet....Daron said he's being deployed to Afghanistan in January and Bruce and Jim seem to think October would be cool enough to get some good runs in at a track maybe.....One of us will start a thread about this very soon....stay tuned.....what condition are your sy's in? any of them for sale? I'm looking for a new project....

Sy #1760 is hurtin pretty bad. It was mine, then I sold it, then I got it back in worse shape but you know about that. Sy #508 is my good one, and by good one I mean it's ok. I don't know what's wrong with it but then what's new. It ran a 9.35 a year ago......in the 1/8th mile. But it's my favorite of the two anyway. I would love to meet up with anybody local if for mothin else but to get ideas and/or help.

That's cool... I was at Temple Acedemy Raceway (little River) last night with both my trucks.I will have to post here next time I plan on going.Allthough San Antonio has the better track.

yeah i run up at the temple track from time to time. i keep tryin to get up there but haven't had the time or money. i'm sure san antonio has a better track but i have more fun at little river. usually when i go up i take a big group of friends and we make an evening of it.

Hello all!! Just a newb here passing through..just got my first Syclone (91 Sy #2265)and am enjoying every minute of it (driving her ike a cadillac). I've wanted one of these ever since I can remember...and finally- I got one! Used to drive a 2004 WRX w/ a UTEC stage 3 map, so I'm not new to the AWD system. ...representing the san Antonio Sy/Ty's

Welli guess i need to check this forum out alittle more.

Im in Hosuton and i think i have the only Sonoma GT in town mine is #492 and undergoing a complete frame up resto, im still doing frame mods and it will have a 408 stroker LQ9 engine in it when it gets back on the road, hopefully before i die.

Im alwasy down to a meet, althoguht i just roll my daily driver cavy i love to see other SyTy's.

There are quit a few here in Houston, ive seen some on the road, most ive only heard about, Seems alot of owners just let them sit and sit, which depresses me greatly.

Once the GT is back up and running im going to look for a Low Milage Sy or Ty to be my new daily driver.

Ill be keeping my eyes on this forum for future meets and will be there for sure.

Mike. I know a guy that has a clean Sy in storage close to my house. One small crack on the rear bumper cladding and little work needed in the engine bay. Never drives it. Asking 10k just to get it out of the way. I'd take it myself but I have no room for it. Email me.

Sounds pretty good so far, do you know how many miles it has and what kind if work is needed under the hood, and is it in good enough shape to become a daily driver?

As I recall, mileage was around 70k. Dont ask me why but, no fan. Cone intake filter on the passenger side with undersized battery wedged in. Motor didnt look too bad. Needs some tidying up under the hood but nothing that looked concerning. Passenger halfshaft boot was slinging grease ($70 at Autozone). No smoke on start-up. Interior is as close to a 10 as I've seen. Paint is great as is cladding except for minor discrepancy as previously mentioned. I've mentioned the truck in an old post. Forgot the vin. I'll inquire if you're interested.

1993 Typhoon ( not sure what # it is) I'm located about 2 hours North of
Houston on 59 North. I'd be interested in meeting or racing at HRP if anyone

Yeah im interested. Sounds like some minor work and it should be good to go for a daily driver, althouh not abusive driving.

Do you know if the guy is neg on the price at all or pretty firm?

Syclone #1453 has just relocated to SOUTH Texas.

And I have a silver Audi A4 too.

Does anyone talk to Al with the fast Sy in Austin?

as far as the guy up the road i haven't caught up with him yet. he said his sy was modded some and was dissapionted it wasn't running with his grand nationals
