New RPM Motor Pics - It's Coming Together

I spent today detailing and bolting stuff up to the RPM Street Terror motor. It's turning out nicer than I ever imagined and I haven't even installed half the chrome/polished parts yet. I'm planning on installing the motor next weekend. Depending on when the PT72GTQ BB turbo and RPM headers arrive, I should have her running again within a month or so. Then I'm towing it down to RPM to have custom intercooler piping done, BOV flange welded on, fuel rails/lines upgraded, electric exhaust cutout installed, etc. Then start tuning it with Nolan. I also ordered some Kumho MX tires for the RPM wheels that have been sitting in boxes for the past year. The Clone is getting a makeover Anyway, more pics to come...stay tuned.

Yeah, they're BMW wheels I got from my buddy for next to nothing. He had a 540i and sold the car before he installed these, so I traded him a set of high-end headphones for the rims. They are 18x8 front and 18x9 rear. I ordered 245/40/18 front and 275/35/18 rear tires for them. We'll see how they turn out...if I don't like them, I'm going to have the Hamann HM2s powdercoated black for a similar look.

The accessory brackets were powdercoated and the pulleys are made by March. I got the complete set...there's a post in here somewhere with all the part numbers. I can say for certain they are MUCH lighter than the stock steel pulleys

Did you scrape the powdercoat off around the bolt holes where the accessory brackets attach to the heads (backside of brackets)?
You'll need to for a good ground.

No, I didn't, but great tip. I'll be sure to take those surfaces down to bare metal with a Dremel before bolting them up :tup:

Look's awesome! If those pulleys are like the March pulleys I had on my Mustang they'll look like that forever! Good choice in parts! Keep us updated.

Are those lower intake manifold bolts long enough, are they as long as the stockers? I had noticed this when I was putting my motor together and wound up using stock lower bolts over.

I think they are shorter, but I won't know until I pull one or two out and swap in the stock bolts for the grounds. Hate to do it, but I need someplace to attach all the ground loops.
