I got mine back as well.

Looks just like his except I bead blasted the outside of mine before sending it so mines cleaner.

The last step of this mod is going to require port matching the upper intake to your new TB size.
Remember the upper is machined for a twin 48mm, so there will be a "lip" where the bores mismatch effectively reducing the overall effect if not remedied. :tup:

Do you happen to have any pictures of your throttle body?
I just emailed Matt to see if he is still doing them..

I can vouch for the work done by the guys at San Diego Carb&F/I. dropped it off tue. morning, had it back on the truck by wed. afternooln. reasonable prices,great work, and now NOTHIN'S getting out of my throttle shaft seal. You can call them at 619.265.2203

Yup, quite a bit more than for the 52mm.

I can't remember how much it was, but I remember I wasn't strtled by the price. We even talked about mounting my alky nozzles in the TB and they appeared to be able to do that kind of work and even a little interested in it.
Just give them a call.If you need to, remind them that it's just like the corvette throttle body.

Just got my throttle body back from Matt Blum. This guy does awesome work Total cost was $175 for the porting, bearing upgrade, and new air foil. It's been bored from 48mm to 52mm and the TB bores match up perfectly with the stock plenum/upper intake, no porting required. Here are some pics:

Actually, I noticed that slight lip protruding outside of the right throttle bore. I'm going to Dremel that down flush with the airfoil before reinstalling this. I also port-matched my turbo inlet, spacer, and header flange up before installing those pieces. Don't want any turbulence in there. No burnouts until I replace my torque converter (very soon!).
