Hello...

My wife Purchased a Typhoon from Ohio a few months ago... It was in fair shape but needed alot of attention to mechanicals...

I did the following,
Made front mount IC by grafting two GN IC's together. 2 1/2 pipeing two and from IC.
EGR elimiate
ABS delete
Front/rear brakes
upper/lower ball joints,controll arm bushings pitman/idlerarm inner/outer tierod ends
allignment
POR 15 inside truck
New carpet with Typhoon floormats
re-locate battery to rear of truck in old spair tire location
JM Chip
3bar map
Conical K&N

The wife had never been to the track to race before or tried to launch the truck before last friday but I think she did great...
60' 1.98
1/4 13.61@ 96mph
Stock boost and lots of fuel to be safe.

I've got several questions about spark blowout and others that i'll post in the correct section...

The rest of the truck she wants to be the orange that's on the inner fenders and intercooler pipes.. It looks funny now but it'll all make sense when I do the body and paint this fall or next spring.

Hey Scott, glad you were finally able to register on the site! Was nice meeting you a couple weeks back.

I drove by your shop this morning while dropping of some parts at Shaker, didn't see the Ty out so I just flew on by.

The first thing I thought of when I saw that orange was epix's Typhoon.

The pictures are on Turbobuick.com In the Sy/Ty section under DoubleGN IC for Typhoon.
If you register on TB.com then you'll be able to view pic's...

Or if someone here wants me to send them the pic's if they can post them here. ;)

Jimmy... Yes.. it's your old truck.... I did buy it from Ohio... as we did talk over e-mail about it before I went to check it out.

It has a different VIN tag than stock being at rebuilt title. Jimmy will have to tell me what number it was originaly....

I do have a shop here on CR 12/California rd... It's my wife's Ty that's been seen in the area if I had to guess...

Epix I bet now that she's driving it I won't get it back for awhile... lol....
She's realy enjoying it...

Thanks for posting those pic's.... That helps a ton!!!!!

If you were the previous owner how long did you have it? What was the final mileage? It has 99,000 now...

I pulled the valve covers to replace the gaskets while I was right there and the inside of the engine was Verry clean!!!! Someone did take good care of that part!!!!! :tup:

We sold her 98 GMC Jimmy to buy this truck... I think we made a good choice :)

I've purchased the AutoProm and Tuner Pro for the truck.. going to get started on the

tune this weekend. I'll have questions about that soon I'm sure...
