new typhoon owner

i just bought a typhoon. it's nothing special, other then that it's a ty. stock black/black '93 w/93k on the clock. It supposedly runs good but all the reliability talk on this site scared the crap outta me. yet i still bought it. I plan on using this as my winter vehicle while my Lightning is stored. i don't plan on performance mods for the ty at all. i'll probably just follow the reliability mods from the other thread to insure the life of the ty. thanks for the site to search! Welcome aboard...

Only thing I would do different is use the Lightning at the winter beater and keep the Typhoon in the garage... everyone says that the Lightning is soooooo much better as a work truck, it should be out in the snow then

Reliability isnt so bad if you take care of your vehicles and keep a good maintanence schedule. Theres plenty here to read up on and take advantage on for the freebie stuff. :tup:

the lightning is highly modified. definitely not a winter beater, more of a track beater anyways a typhoon makes one hell of a winter vehicle.
