Hey guys whats up. My name is Mike im from Columbus Ohio im 29. A friend of mine has a Sy and I am looking to get me A typhoon come march gotta save me some green. I've been into cavaliers for a while now and feel it is time to move on with that going no where scene and go to something else, And well imports dont cut it in my house.

I chose a Typhoon because I have a 10 year old son. I have managed to save 1500 in about 3 weeks and im hoping by march I'll have around 10-11K and pay cash for one.

Anyhow I just wanted to introduce myself and say Hi... If this is in the wrong forum im sorry

Hey Mike

You shouldn't have any trouble finding a Ty on this site. You might end up with one before March if you ask around. Anyway, welcome.

Welcome Mike! I'm up in C-Bus all the time. There are several SyTyer's up in those parts. There is a bunch down here in Cincy as well. Good luck getting a good one!

Thanks guys.. Yea it seems like they are relativly cheaper on here than autotrader and ebay and what not sooo.. There is a all white one that im really liking on ebay right now

But you'd be looking at about $6k more then what you listed as your price range. Its a super nice truck though.

Welcome, I'm new as well and have a long road of learning ahead of me. All I can say, Mike is do your homework on the truck before you pick it up. There's tons of info on this site that will point you in the right direction on what to look for and what to be wary of. I just recently picked mine up and am learning a few of these things the hard (but relatively fun) way.

Syo thats a bad arse Ty ya got there, I'd like to stay around 12-11K because I'll be able to get that faster than 20K ya know. My G/F started a new job make'n 24 bux and hour and has agree to keep 2K a month for a truck for me

welcome... I bought my truck less than 2 months ago. I still get a grin on my face when I pull the cover off it. You won't be dissapointed.

Be careful with that kinda stuff...as soon as she pays $1 for it, she automatically equally responsible for it.

Thanks guys I honestly didnt expect to get many replies being the new guy and all...

Yea she's a good girl we've been dateing for about a year now and she just got a job at a Local hospital as a RN so im really look'n forward to something alittle faster than this cav.

Side note:: I was origanaly going to buy a Daytona Shelby or an Omni GLHS but after talking to my friend with a SY well I cant halp but want a Ty. Scary thing is Ive already came up with a personal plate "MYTY" or MITIE IMSLOW is another that I came up with.. SOrry

If you want some good plate ideas just do a search, theres quite a few posts that people throw a ton of ideas out there.

don't buy through tri state auto auction up around chicago unless you can personally inspect it.
