Nissan Frontier: The most powerfull V6 truck period?

The other morning I'm strolling into work in the Typhoon listening to the radio (beacuse my cd player hasn't worked since 2 owners ago) and on the radio I hear an add for the new Nissan Frontier, claming its the most powerfull V6 pickup period. I mean I could see if they said the most powerfull you can buy off a dealer lot today, but PERIOD?

I get onto Nissans website, and low and behold it only makes 265 hp, and 280 ft lbs of torque. Last time I checked the least a sy made stock was 280hp, 350ft lbs of torque. Do these people in marketing even research this shit before the make bullshit claims like this?

Has anyone else heard one of these bullshit commercials?

When they make claims like that its current production current model year. Face it the auto companys dont care about 15 year old limited production trucks.

Ps dont ever buy a Nissan, my friend works there selling parts and you should see the service center, its always full. All them hashi tashi cars are caca. Please see my phone pic thread to see how crappy they are in the swamp.

dodge doesnt claim to be quickest just "fastest" and its is by a longshot. wait till the adreline comes out then the Tys will be moved one peg down.

Hopefully the owners who buy these Frontiers believe the hype and when you blow them away like they're standing still at the light, it'll make it that much sweeter, ha ha.

Yeah, my old Nissan was pretty unreliable, even compared to some of you guy's "horror stories".... no problems (w / the Ty yet!

so when they say SRT-10 is the fastest are they refering to top speed? and will this new 390HP adrenalin run faster then sytys? i haven't seen any predicted number for it so i am not sure?
