no more ST sway bars?

I've looked all over the net, and no one carries the Suspension Techniques rear sway bar for our trucks anymore? I will not be purchasing another addco bar, so is belltech the bar of choice now or what?

I believe ST was bought out by Bell Tech at some time or another.

Bell Tech is the way to go.

i must have been absent the day this was discussed hehe...

ok so since both products are belltech, there shouldnt be any problems installing the rear sway bar with the drop leafs right? I ask only because over the years i've learned even the simplest of jobs on these trucks can turn out to be the biggest pain in the ass.

Call Bell Tech and ask for Eric Ridenour.

He is an ex-Ty owner and is pretty knowledgable as far as what fits together.

I just installed a belltech bar with my 2" drop flexaforms
Closest it gets is about 3/4"

I wouldn't have trouble finding parts if I had a budget like that either :rotf:

i recently heard a quote that i love

Being 80 and have a 20 something girlfriend gives me a great reason to make as much money as possible so when I am 80, I too can have a 20 something girlfriend.

ps it's all about hard work and the right savings & investments you make when your young.

hahaha j/k its cool i got the answers i was lookin for. But im still planning on this being a pain in the ass and not going smoothly at all. for me its better to be a pessimist when it comes to these trucks. That way if something does go smoothly, i feel better about it, since i was expecting the worst. I need to lay down on a couch and pay someone a lotta money to listen and figure out whats wrong with me hahaha

If you need some help - get a good girleeee magazine and pretend she's next to you. It's a lot cheaper and you will feel just a little better when your done.

Your bar will break L-angle mount someday, at least mine and my friend's L-angle mounts were destroyed w/o adding 1" block from BT.

Lowered 1" by block made more space between bar & leaf.

Here are pics of my ty (ST lowered leaf + ST swaybar)

Before: See the clearance at passenger side. almost no space.

After: better clearance, but the bar still hit sometimes, and finally broke the mount.

Anyway, your mount looks much more stronger than ST's

I am glad I have the ATR.
It has a ton of clearance and can go above or below the axle with mods to the end links.

My truck is lowered on Bell Tech leafs with a 1" block and nothing comes close to contact under there.

And I want to obtain a S-GT to have something to drive while the Ty is broken. That's a lot. :tup:
