Hey all. Just picked up my first Typhoon. I'm not new to cars but I am new to the SyTy community. It's a 1992 Typhoon #0013 with 71k on the clock. It needs some work but I love it despite the engine grenading driving it into the trailer. Currently it's having an engine built by Wegner Motorsports (they build engines for NASCAR teams).

I'll get some photos up soon.

Ha! I always wondered what happened to this truck. I think the original owner was in Michigan or Wisconsin? It was up for sale back in Oct/Nov of 2000 with about 40k on the clock. Was gonna fly out there and drive it back, but he sold it before I had could get the loan sorted out.

Good luck with lucky 13!

Thanks. I don't know the full history yet. I know 6 years ago someone bought it that lived in Waukesha, WI & drove it daily all year round for 3 years then parked it after having the trans rebuilt & put in a 2800 stall converter. It sat for 3 years then was bought by another guy in the same town who got it running. A week later it lost oil pressure & spun a rod bearing. I bought it 2 weeks after that.
