Well since Don got a trailer and tow vehicle and wont be able to drive straght thru I figured that I would help out and save money and miles and go with them. I am also considering getting rid of the beast so I figured better safe then sorry. I actually got WONDERFUL price for trade in on a 2006 trailblazer ss it was unreal.

so you have a trailer incase something goes south.. and you are planning on getting rid of the truck, sounds to me like you should drive it one last time.. at the moment we have plenty of co-drivers.. no reason to have another.. more trucks > more people:tup:

ehhhhh I am still thinking about it. I am driving it down to Don and Taras so I can make the final decision tomorrow. I would really hate to break something and put even more money into it that I wont ever get back though.

jeff,
we have plenty of drivers that would be able to help you drive straight through. You wouldn't be riding solo. I have 2 passengers in my car, and morgan still hasn't decided what he's riding in. Smaug has 2 passengers with him....so we have 3 spare drivers aside from the already 2 for each vehicle

drive your damn ty

Oh but that would mean that either I will have to drive straight thru and or Tara may have to drive the tahoe and trailer. WOW very scary. For all of us on the road.

you wouldn't need to drive straight through. We have plenty of spare drivers. Plus able tow-drivers so that Tara wouldn't wipe out the entire caravan

If both of mine weren't in 1.2 million pieces i'd bring a truck. You have no excuse. Bring the damn thing. You'd regret leaving it at home.

Re: northeast driving routes

Maybe someone will be bringing a friend or will know someone who wants to buy it if I sell it?

Oh and I guess I can tell you guys that the dealer totaly insulted me today with a $3500 offer as trade in. How unreal is that. If you add $20,000 to that you will be close to what I have into it. Not that I was expecting it to be a high offer but I was expecting at least $8000. I still would have laughed but I wouldnt have been insulted. I checked three sites for value and all of then said in just fair condition the lowest value was like $9500 for trade in so where did this guy come up with $3500?

Thats great. My mother just leased one today and I test drove it the other day before she bought it. It just made me miss a new car. Not that I dont love my ty I just want a new car and cant see letting the ty just sit. If I do get rid of it I will definately get another one. One day when I have a nice garage for it to sit in.

Re: northeast driving routes

wow 1:15am just got done installing the new valve springs, 2 cracked and 2 more i could push down with my fingers. i guess that is some of the reason i was going so slow. guess i got some tunning when i get there for the track and dyno. now i just got to grab a bite to eat pack sleep and get ready for all the crap i have to do tomorrow before leave time tomorrow. always last min things i got to do.

by the way tara has already said she WILL NOT DRIVE THE TAHOE AND TRAILER. but i do think you "jeff" should bring your poop at least see what it will do. plus my trailering fees will only be $1000 a mile when you break.
