Just wanted to see whos all going, I will riding with my dad in this:

Even though it wont even be for sale at the dealerships yet, we still get to drive it because my dad works at the plant where they are built. There nice little cars, and fast too. 177hp high output ecotec in a car that weighs 2800lbs w/5spd stick...not too shabby.

Do we have to register for this show or just cruise in and find a parking spot? I'm not interested in spending $40 to show my ride or winning any awards - just hanging out with other sytyers for a weekend.

Nah dude, nobody registers down there, everyone just cruises up and down the main strip or chills in various parking lots. There will be like 3,000 cars down there, and almost none register for the show. Its one of the best shows I go to every year, I go to it like twice a year and its always a blast.

I plan on being there I missed the last few shows down there b/c my truck wasn't done. Hopefully I will see a few other sytyers down there.

Cool man, I will see you guys down there, look for all the 4th gen Monte SS's at the 64th street shops parking lot right along the main strip. I will be setup there, so stop and say whats up if you see us..I would love to check out some SYTYs considering i have only seen like 3 in my life.

I take my 1968 rs/ss pro camaro but if you guys want to do a showing I am in and will dust off the sy.Lets post for a meeting place and cruise in together :tup:

Well my dad isnt going now which means neither is the Solstice, which sucks but o'well me and my brother are coming down anyways, with the my 85' Monte and his 05' Colorado.

i am planning on taking my sy down there and my dad is bringing his 66 Chevelle (Marina Blue). hope the weather holds out, ill be looking for more sy/tys there...
