October 7th Meet: Bucks County Turbo-6 Meet/Mini-cruise

OCTOBER 7th -- THIS IS IT...the first annual "Whine Tour" in Central Bucks. A three-stage event for all GM Turbo-6 vehicles hosted by Dennis Kirban and Exotic Koncepts.

Stage One: Meet at Dennis Kirban's Open House at 1:00 pm in Plumsteadville PA.

Again, this is open to SyTy's, TR's, TTA's or conversions powered by Turbo-6.

This is a meet, not a show. There will be no voting, entrance fees, or trophies. Hope to see you there!!

Edit: People should know they can attend all or whatever part of this event they can make. Nobody will be turned away at EK if that's all they can do.

Also note that EK is on County Line road, which as the name denotes, is on the line between Montgomery County and Bucks County...not far from Montgomeryville, Lansdale, Horsham, Warrington, Rt. 309, NE Extension, etc etc.

Date is locked in at the shop! The rain date is also good. Hope to have a good turnout. I will work on a banner this week to put out front of the shop.

Everybody can bring grill items to snack on. I'll probably bring a big pack of hotdogs and rolls. As for beer, we cannot have any open out in the lot. I will have my grille here to use.

I'm gonna try and make it there for the entire day. I'm gonna go to the huge Hershey fall swap meet on Friday if I can get the day off from work. I'll be beat on Saturday but I can stand around and BS all day - beats working on my yard/garden.

Well I hope to get my ty back together and drive it for the first time this week. If everything feels okay I think I am going to attempt to make it down.
If it is not up to snuff I may just drive something else down just to get to meet up with you guys and find out some tricks of the trade with these trucks.
Still trying to gain knowledge on this ty's.

So far I have replaced the 73,000 mile stock plugs cap & rotor
I put in a intercooler pump, relocated the hoses off the intake area.
Flushed the intercooler out
160 thermostat
open element air filter
255 fuel pump
alky kit
waiting on RPM exhaust
map 3 chip (i think that what is was :roll: )
I don't plan to run the alky untill I learn more on it

The only question I have that worries me is...Can I run the 255 fuel pump on stock regulator and how much pressure should I be getting at the shrader valve?
Like I said still learning.

They're hoping to get 50-100 TRs up there!!!!

If that many turbo Buicks and possible magazine coverage isn't incentive enough, I don't what to tell you.

Remember, Kirban's event starts at 9 am and the Buick crowd will be there early...so let's make a showing!! (I can't get there before 1 pm. )

Early weather reports say 50's and 60's with sun!!!
