Hey guys, just wanted to say the sooner you book the better. We have to reserve 20 rooms by May 25th and then everyone gets the discount. The earlier you book, the less hassle for us!
what is the discount when i did my room they told me it was normal rate they just have so many rooms set aside for us? i think they said 99 a night and that was the normal rate? we get a discount off the 99 if we get 20 or more?
Re: Official Hotel: Hampton Inn, Monroe, Michigan.
Ok I just for you guys info $99 a night is the same as the aaa rate. The Hampton hotel is really saying that unless you get 20 rooms (not that 20 should be a problem I would think) that they are gonna charge you the $110 a night? I would think with 20 rooms they SHOULD be able to give a better rate then $99 a night or at least I would think so anyway.
Also I want to make it clear that this post was just to give some info not to give the guys setting the hotel up any grief or make it seem as though they didn't do a good job. I can't imagine all that it takes to set up an event like this and would not begin to tell anyone how they should be doing something. I just figured the info may be of help.

Ya. I tried to get them to come down A little more in price, but they were firm on price. So I hope for the price, the parking lot works out better than the Holiday inn parking lot.
Re: Official Hotel: Hampton Inn, Monroe, Michigan.
I just booked my room. The girl knew to associate me with the Syclone guys just by my check in date. Sounded hot. Will find out if she fits the "hot on the phone but weighs more than me" problem. Had a brain though. Breezed through the reservation.

turboj91, still looking for someone to split the cost? I can do my own room, but double queen beds at $100/night seems a bit excessive for one guy a couple hours from home.
