youre entitled to your opinion, but I can remember a couple years ago when it snowed in November but we had a couple nice warm weekends in december.

"can't control the weather..." True, which is why I suggest a "crappy weather (rain) date" which was never offered for the December meets. It's almost always frigid in December which means less truck time. Plus the chicks are more likely to pose in 40 degrees than they would be in 25 degrees. :lol:

they were offered, but it was never needed, which was good because the manager at Hooters at the time wanted to know 100% if we were coming that day, so dont say NEVER, and I could personally care less about flat chested skanky "hooters" girls.

Not people dude...TRUCKS. And if you look at all the meets that take place around the country (both regional and national meets), 22 trucks is very impressive. And 22 trucks = at least 22 people, often many more who come as passengers or in their daily drivers. Last year we had 22 trucks but probably 35 people.

I guess you didnt bother to read anything I wrote above.

I guess we never had any trucks in previous years either.

Hell, I remember when we used to go shoot pool AFTER hooters, I doubt that happens anymore.

Actually, I remember when we used to have OTHER meets in November, thats why Hooters was always in December, cause we had the option to go in and warm up. We used to have a meet every month except Jan and February and March was SyTy optional at Dave & Busters..... what is there 3 meets a year now that Jimmy left... Spring E-town, Fall E-town and Hooters?.... whoopie! :lol:

Either way since I dont have a truck to show off and thats all that matters apparently, ill be chillin at home like previously stated. :tup:

The doing something after sounds like a good idea to me. Who else would be in?

Morgan bring your ass out to the meet....come on you know you want to.

You and Steve (baythan) can have a battle royal in the aldi's parking lot for our entertainment LOL.

Seriously be nice to have as many people there as possible.

You both mean well just have different thoughts about how to go about it.

Or I would be up for a December meet as well or January? Hell it has been brought up before and I know most will not bring their trucks but that doesn't much matter to me. So what about a meet up near me in the Poconos at one of the ski mountains? Just sometime this winter? Anyone? Just a thought.

I dont have anything against Steve, I think hes a very nice guy, this isnt about that at all.

All moot. Meet is in November. We'll pray for good weather. And if not, we'll probably go early December. When I start hating my truck or it breaks down, someone else will surely take over. :tup:

I have nothing against Morgan. He's an old schooler and has my respect.

Regarding afterwards...I have a good friend in Cherry Hill that I visit after every SyTy meet each year, so I'm good.

Back to important stuff...WHO ELSE IS IN!!?!!

I didn't think you all did REALLY have any against each other and threw out a bit of a foreign concept called ...SARCASM.

You all were bickering back and forth like a couple of old women though for the record.


Eh I don't care anymore bicker back and forth... show up don't show up... No big deal.

Chill out I wasn't trying to change this meets date just throwing other ideas out since Morgan reminded us we used to have many more meets. I kinda forgot how many meets naste used to have.

I'm a definate maybe. Either in the Ty or CTS-V.
The last time I went Steve didn't even have his syclone yet and it started snowing on the way home.
On another note: Morgan's Mechanical Service ;) is needed so get in touch to discuss.

AutoAddictions - I'm sure Keith Watson would be more than happy to drive your Sy to the Hooters meet - it will keep him focused on getting his own Sy back together again and can be trusted to treat it right. You know him.

Morgan - ther are gonna be some new SyTy owners showing up that could learn alot from an old schooler like you - come on out and give them a chance to pick your brain a little. I know I did on numerous occasions when I was a newbie and you always helped me out.
Time to make a show - we miss you.

Baythan - way to go man - you got a good number of owners interested in showing up - I know I helped last year and we had a great turnout - you certainly are an asset to NASTE - thank you once again for stepping up.

It will be good to see new guys again - good chance to place a face with a screen name.

I think Ralph is gonna take good quality pics for a possible NASTE calendar for 2009.

Everybody feel free to bring a few parts that you want to sell - there's always guys looking for things. I'll be bringing some this time around to sell - just don't go overboard.

Should be a great time as usual - looking forward to it.

Well I am definately in!!! The Giants are playing the Eagles on Sunday night so I will definately be heading down to hooters for the day then head back home for the late game. Can't wait to see everyone there and all the truck!!! :)

Excellent! We're up to 19 trucks and I know a few non-board people who might be there as well!! Weather permitting, we're looking at 20+ trucks.

Though not official, we might get a visit from a well-known automotive journalist in his F-body. More on that as the date gets closer. :tup:

Hooters in Florida just sent up some girls to Hooters NJ. They should be available for photos in ..November.
