Man I have been waiting FOREVER for this day!! I have been carefully monitoring salt piles on the road on my way to work and they have all dissolved and the weather is great out which gives me the "GREEN" to go get my Sy and bring her on home. I think I am the last of my car buddies to bring his car out! Oh well! Now I can stop listening to "So when the hell are you gonna bring your truck out??" Let's see I gotta fix the broken plug wires first, put the stock alternator pulley on, finish off the rear tires, mount the new ones, and then seal the deal with that knock problem and I'll be good as gold! Can't wait. Have a great day folks!! :grin:

I haven't even seen mine since last October!! It's been getting worked on down at this shop in Kentucky...:wink:

Hopefully it'll be home very soon!

What kind of mods did you have to go 12.05? How much faster are you looking for, if you dont mind talking about it.

yeah, i wanna hear more about the truck hamerhead. is yours the one with the stage 3 vortecs, speedpro, inovative boost controller, and a PTE reworked 45?

or is that someone elses....

just wanna put a name with that truck.

My trucks getting a Supermotor w/ the Vortecs; either T66 or 72 Turbo(don't know yet); KB Headers; Mike Lee 3" D/P; .430 cam and SpeedPro. I guess it'll be capable of 10's but I'm more interested in mid/hi 11's on the street w/ 'hopefully' pump gas.

When I ran the 12.0's, I didn't even have a home computer and was internet-less, so I knew nothing of this board or the list. I just bought my parts from KB and ATR. I did the fuel pump and AFPR, Kenne Bell Jimmy2 Turbo w/ external wastegate,Air2Air, 9/11 3600 stall TC, 3" exhaust, AND a KB STRIP chip! :grin: ) , and I guess I could've just replaced the pistons and rings, but instead I said screw it and gave Jerry my credit card number. I *think* this new motor will be enough to get me that 11 second timeslip.:roll:

I just upgraded from L35's to the Vortecs last week, so if anybody is lookin' for a set of slightly used McCoy L35's, call him.

E-RUE : I think that's someone elses truck you're referring to.
