oh daym my truck wouldn't start.

ok, i saw a post for a gm starter from a big block that was supposed to be a direct bolt on and have more torque. and i think it was smaller. i need one asap. anyone have one or kow where to get one?

ok, so how hard is it to get it out? is there anything in the way? can i do it with the truck on jackstands? i have not been under the truck in a while so i do not remember if there is anything in the way or not......

ok, cool went and picked up the big block starter and installed it today. pretty easy, would have gone faster if the truck was not hot.....no burns though. it is alot smaller, i was a little sceptical at first but it has started fine every time i have turned the key, not so true with the old one. so if you are thinking about it, it goes in much easier than it comesout. and it is lighter. good mod/repair
