Hello all,
Was doing routine maintnence on my new truck and I found an oil leak I cant identify the cause of.
Found oil in the intake valleys between the injectors of cy. 4 & 6. I have pics if anyone can tell me how to post them.
The tubes of the PCV valves were soaked with old oil. My guess was a valve cover gasket but I took the valve cover off and no signs of leaking. My next guess is oil is blowing by the PCV valves as as there are no clamps holding them into their respective tubes but wouldnt there be spray on the bottom of the upper IC? The bottom of the IC is dusty but not oil coated.
The PCV tubes and the valve cover was well coated with the black sludge. Bought new PCV valves and a new valve cover gasket as insurance.
Could it be somthing I am missing?
