Re: oilpressure drop

sorry to hear that shit. if you're gonna inspect the block, please take off the rearmain cap an look if there is a plug in the oil valley. i had somebody put my block together and they overlooked the plug, if that one is missing no oil get trough the filter and you get a 30psi oilpressure drop at idle.

Hot tanking the motor will NOT get everything out of it! This step is thought to be for the meticulous, but it makes a difference! Wash it thoroughly with warm/hot soap and water. Use small gun barrel brushed to go through every single oil and water passage multiple times. Once its all done, dry it quickly, hit it with WD40, oil the mains, cylinders and cam surfacesand bag it till you're ready to start assembling.

Its tedious, but well worth the effort!

Re: oilpressure drop

Yeah, i put in a new oil cooler and all lines last time. The big one from turbotime!A little filter is also in the turbo oil line so hopefully the turbo isnt damaged this time.I really dont no what i should do now.I dont wanna pull the engine anymore!!!!But when i would sell it what would i get for it.Maybe 5000 when i am lucky and over 20000 invested.Live is really tough.I think its better to go at the gas station, buy some gas and then burn moth.....ker burn!!!!!!!!!
