Got the new motor trend today and what do u know there is tt trailblazer on the cover. Hmm intersting i thought. Its really actaully pretty decent with 5.3 to 60 and 13.9 quater mile times id be intrested in it. It has the stock inline 4.2 but only with some boost. Numbers are 400hp 400ft lb everything was good until they menchined it reminding them of an old artilce with the V-6 Gmc Typhoon/Cyclone. Omgosh if Motor Trend cant even get it right there is no use even tryin to get the rest of the world to understand its spelled Syclone
Just alittle bit of y 2cents

Yes.. I was reading that article today in MT. You think they may resurrect the Ty's and Sy's for like 2004 or 2005, kinda the way they bringing back the "Bel-Air" IT kinda looks just like the new T-bird???

My questions are these:

Does GM realize I am their dream buyer for this truck? Former Ty owner...current ZQ8 owner who's disgusted with the cheap build quality of the S-Series? DINK, Wants an Envoy but has to wait untill after my tour in Germany (estimated return 2005)

This truck is what would keep me out of the Lightning Showroom. Keep me from looking at the Dodge SR200ZR type S. (what is that dang name anyway?) This is what I would plop $20,000 cash down for in an instant. where do I send my letters?

Also...the feeling I got from the Article is that this engine/drivetrain combo could be adapted very, very easily to the Chevy SS-R. Did anybody else get that impression?

These trucks are cursed
i know ive said this about a thousand times already... but after reading that article in MT... i still gotta say... since theyre gonna get rid of the S-10, why not make it go out with a bang! something like a 20th anniversary edition and put that TT motor in it? and make it a REAL xtreme. when you put that engine in a bigger vehicle like the TB, youre just adding more weight, and wasting HP. i think thats one of the reasons our trucks are so fast, you cram all that power into a tiny lil truck of course its gonna haul ass! either way no sense in continuing to talk about it... since its a CHEVY concept itll never get built... anyone know if that Silverado SS is actually gonna be made? i saw that bad boy at the auto show... good lord thatd be nice!

Where did you hear this or why do you think that?

And where you refer to "engine" in a bigger vehicle, where do you know of any other vehicle (presently) that use's the new straight 6, because the one in the TB is not a V block
