Re: One last shot... Breaking up!
I don't even know why I'm going to waste my time responding to this but sometimes I just can't ignore stupidity... The fuel pump did not fail, and the pump is not bad. When I originally installed the pump I did not upgrade the wiring... The additional amperage draw of the larger pump through the factory wiring caused the wires to heat up and burn off the insulation. Yes this was a problem, and yes I'm glad I took the tank out to change the pump/wiring, but NO the pump is not the cause of what I have going on. A Fuel pump can not fail at 1500, 1900, and 2500 consistently. Also a failing pump would not allow me to run 68psi and perfect WOT 18psi numbers. I took the tank down for a piece of mind and get out the fake walbro and put a real one in and to prove that is NOT the pump. I appreciate your ignorance because my determination to prove you wrong is what made me take the tank out and I'm glad I did. I fixed a potential problem but not the problem I'm having....
gee ! bad fuel pump ring a bell !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
