Outside interference with ecm

Can outside interference fool with an ecm?

Example 1: Driving down the road in a Lightning...same road several times, different times on different days, but same location. RPMs drop and truck stalls. Happened several times cause the truck to die and pull over to restart.

Example 2: Driving to class in my Ranger behind my roomates Yukon Denali. Both pull one behind the other to the side of the road into spots...somewhat parallel parking...both vehicles stall at almost the exact same time.

I don't get it? I really would like a reason for this...can't simply be a coincident

You betcha.

I would seriously be concerned about driving wherever it is... it would take a fair amount of transmitted power to make it happen.

Any cell towers, high tension power lines, radar, radio transmitters in the area?

An example - there's a military radar north of here a ways that can pick up objects in space.
Takes a fair amount of juice to do that.

well, in my ranger I was on my school campus next to their computer tech building...
Not sure what by the lightning...maybe Morgan can chime in...Happened in BH near the last shitty golf course on the south end of the Island(Mr. T's)...I think there might be a cell tower there, and some big generators behind the police station, but its never happened to any other vehicles there?

I know it was a major problem in the evo but I think they have since fixed the issue
