The front screw is about 1" further forward than that hole (it is centered right between the rivets) which would put the console out of alignment.canadian said:Do you need to install the front tab? So how would this work with say, a dodge console? I've been searching online for a few different ones, and the one small one shown above kinda looks like that of the one in a 05 Dakota. I've also been thinking about upgrading to a newer rearview mirror..

Seem to me that someone here had a low mileage Typhoon (I think in Colo.) that 1/2 of the vin tag was remove during a windshield replacement. Talk about screwing up someone truck. I don't recall what happen or if it ever got fix.
