Interesting that the front bumper goes on after the grill is installed. I've never attempted to remove the front bumper from under the truck, I always remove the grill then the bumper. I'll have to try it their way.
 
I would like to know the whole story but just by looking at the pictures and the assembly line photos/videos I've seen, I would say that PAS supplied the powertrain modules to Pontiac West. Pontiac West built them on the assembly line minus the front bumper.PAS put the front bumper on and shipped them to dealers, with the roof rack and center caps sitting in the back.

I too wonder exactly how PAS received the trucks and what their part was...
