I couldnt go to NATS so instead to feel that i did something this summer with my truck i put it in a local car show. I have been to this car show in the past with out my truck and I always had a nice time. Met a lot of people with beautiful cars. This year of course when i put my truck in it wasnt that good. The people organizing it was different from the previous years for what ever reason and alot of cars did not show up. Instead of about 350 cars there was half. The judges didnt even have any ideas about cars. Alot of people said they will not be returning next year. I had to move three times becasue they had no idea what catagory to put me in. After the last time i finally found out i was in the same catagory with a 1980 lambo, 69 camaro with 483 miles, and a customized s10 with the rear bed full of speakers. As you can see alot of diffeent style vehicles in the same catagory, what the f*CK!

Don't feel bad Vin. I've actually had show applications and checks mailed BACK to me because organizers said they had no category for the truck. Such is the life of a SyTy owner. :D

Keep it clean and bring it down to Hooters in December. At least THERE it will be appreciated for what it is...even if it's 30 degrees outside. :tup:

"Hooters in December"???? Tell me more!!! Nice to meet you yesterday btw!! I'll get that name off my truck cover too :)

Every December, a bunch of nuts from the loosely organized group "NASTE" (Northeast Association of Sy and Ty enthusiasts - you're a member! :rotf: ) meet at Hooters in Maple Shade NJ (near Cherry Hill). Weather is always an issue, but last year we had a beautiful day and I guess about 20 trucks (almost as much as NATS! :cool: ).

Vinnie was there last year - see his avatar? I was there (my third year!) with the Sy, and many others.

Nice meeting you too!

Neat steering wheel. Does that bolt right up or do you need and adapter like the momo's.

Yes you need an adapter. I bought it off a member here but i might want to get rid of it and put back the original. If interested let me know. :tup:

Yea always a good meet.. but I remember you being there with your sy and crossing your fingers that the ty was as good as it sounded :)
