PLX gauge connection help - miniature connector needed

Hi guys,

I wired my PLX into the side of the heater controls and fed the cable through a 2cm hole. I hid the PLX device behind the radio where it has sat ever since.

When I took the cluster out, I needed to remove the PLX so instead of taking out the radio bezel etc, I cut the wires to the display with the intention of just using some bullet connectors. I didn't realise there were so many damn wires in it!

There are 4 black wires, 2 of which have 3 tiny wires in making a total of eight!

My problem is this - I may want to remove the cluster again and I can't resolder the wires back as then I'd just have to cut them again. I'm looking for a small connector capable of taking the 8 wires and fitting though the 2cm diameter hole I made.

Has anyone got any ideas where to start? I thought maybe MOLEX or a small audio fitting.

Thanks for reading!

It's 9 pin, but the most compact (stacked) M/F combo I could find.

Using dual 4 wire connectors might be easier. Stagger them and the whole harness should slide right through. Staggering helps keep the entire loom tight and compact (common thing to do with radio installs).
