just some tips:

1) no using stock manifolds since they are angle plug heads. marty says a set of kb headers will bolt up and work.

2) offset rockers. i can't see how it's possible to use anything other than a set of offset ones (jesel makes 'em at $700). i *think* mike lee said he didn't need to use offset ones, but i never saw pics. i just don't see how it will work.

3) stock intake is not a bolt on affair. you will either need to convert a corresponding carb intake to efi, or have your stocker modified for it to work.

don't know the flow specs (not sure what off the shelf is), but the ports look to be much bigger than L35's or vortecs. i have a set of these heads and a carb intake lying around i might be willing to part with for the right price.

i ran these heads with crower rockers on my first bowtie, then sold the heads/intake to adam (typhool7) and he is running it the same way. never a prob.
Others claim they needed more offset, and went to jesels.

i haven't mocked mine up yet so i couldn't tell you how bad the pushrod geometry would be. don't suppose you have a part number for those rockers? maybe a difference in casting or something, i dunno. i'm not saying i don't believe you, just doesn't seem possible with the set i have.

I believe so, yes. They are the top flowing heads you can get.

Mike @ RPM would know for sure since he is doing lots of high end builds at the moment.

so if pontiacs flow more than brodix.... why go brodix?.... better comubustion chamber? lighter weight aluminum?

I'm not converned about what would have to be fabbed for either but purely from a performance standpoint.

Yes, one in the same. We were using the pontiac heads for years on our big blocks that were made by brodix.

My heads on my race car are oldsmoblie, but they were made by dart.

I guess its easier to have them put a part number on than design there own.
All of GM's own stuff is marketed under the Bowtie label

They are made by Brodix, but they aren't one and the same really.

They are just another casting that Brodix makes. Much different than the regular Brodix or Lil brodie heads...

the lil brodies are the -8 heads with regular runner intake ports. They bolt up to the intake just like a set of L35 heads, however they come with angle spark plugs, thus requiring KB headers or custom. You can special order them straight, but it appears they angle the spark plugs slightly down in comparison with the stock production heads. This requires some slight modification of the primary/collector on ATR headers. Here is a pic of Tom Dow's old ATR headers with straight plug brodies, and what we did to fix this ugly patch job done by a previous shop.

The pontiacs are a -10 or some refer to it as an 11x head. They are raised runner heads like the vortecs, so not only would you need to modify the intake manifold, but you will need to modify the headers as well. The lil brodies seem to flow really well, and with KB headers provide a simple install. The pontiacs flow a little better, but you almost design a build around them. I have a couple sets of each.

i've looked in their catalog as well, but couldn't find any information on the v6 stuff. you may need to call them direct to ask any questions you have. let us know what they have to say.

My heads flow 320 cfm but Mike has (had) one more set that was maxed out to 340+ cfm
I use the 0.50 jesels...no way to install anything else because of the huge intake ports
