poor shelby gt 500

Big in the rear
The older ones should be in the low 4s and if you bump up the power and not the tires I would think it would just get worse. The new ones with launch control are supposed to be better, if you use the launch control.

Unless its rocking at least a DR on the back, it's not even remotely fair.

But good kill, maybe it will make him learn how to use it, and get a set of big and littles.

I drove an '08 vette a few weeks ago and it was amazing, but the launch was nowhere near what a Syty can produce. Without drag radials, these high horsepower cars are burnout machines...beautiful, great handling, burnout machines.

Thats what makes these little tanks awesome is the grip I would almost bet my stock syclone could really give them a run. Because most of these guys cant drive to save their lives oh and white Oakleys do not make you faster. short distance race anyway like an 1/8 mile. The shifting only gets worse when they see that S-10 leave them at the light too, hahaa. love them when they work.

I was thinking about this while getting ready for work this morning. How do they come up with that? My Ty does 0-60 in 3.8 and that's with AWD and no wheel spin with a 1.6 second 60'. How can a RWD 610hp car do better on street tires? Any chance they run those tests with tricks to the tires?

On my spinning 1.69 60' Datamaster said I was going 44mph then and hit 60 in 3.41 :dunno:

Run was 7.68@90 in the 1/8th.

Mine says;
60' - 1.659 @ 36.9mph
1/8 - 7.738 @ 89.3mph
1/4 - 12.2426 @ 109.0 mph
0-60 - 3.574 @ 60.0 mph

I had no spin though so I don't know how the DM runs are affected by wheel spin. You would think the times would longer than shorter.

Nice! Your best is only an 11.9 with all that done and 28psi?

His 115 MPH is telling me the truck has a lot more in it as an 11.9 run should be 111-112 mph.

115 is about an 11.65ish capable truck.

A word to note whenever I am tuning at the track, and or just comparing vehicles MPH is a good indicator of horsepower and if the change I just made is good or bad. ET is just telling me how effiecient that power is put down to the track, and mostly the first 100 ft or so.

The vehicle weights have to be very close to being the same, or the comparison isn't valid.

Sweet thanks, also im living in Abbostford BC. I found a place called Force fed racing. was talking to a guy with a GN. said he did the tune and a bunch of other work with a chassis dyno. they have a rx7 that runs a 8.20 and a supra that runs a 7.99 both with turbos. they sounds like they know whats up. anyone hear anything about them? Im looking threw their stuff now.

They changed their name...... Now they are Moretto Motorsports
