Possible April meet @ New England Dragway

Alright guys, after getting my leave dates I now know that I am missing every big northeast SyTy even this year, again :rant: ... so, contemplating an April meet. Was talking with NASTETy92, the idea we came up with was to try and coordinate for one of the Saturday test and tunes up at NED. Any interest?

One of those dates falls on Englishtowns Swap Meet & Car Show, Where is the location of this track.

NED is in Loudon, NH ... more of a northern meet. It'd be tough for me to get to anything south of CT because I can only get weekend leave from noon friday to 6pm sunday, and I have to drive 3 hours to pick up my truck first

BTW Its Epping, NH It would take those of us willing to goto NED, 5-6 hours each way to reach Englishtown. 10+ hours of driving to hang out for an afternoon is usually too much for most for us...

I don't think of any off the top of my head but I'm sure the MA guys could come up with one

I'm sure we can find a spot somewhere thats more south of Epping, NH, but there will be no racing. Might as well do both at once, unless someone has something better to do??

Depending where I am and what im doing I might be a maybe without a truck...maybe ill race a poorly running ty in my ranger

There are no drag tracks in either state. Bunch of regular oval tracks though :rant:

NED is the closest track for all us guys in new england so far as I can tell

I am actually half way between Lebanon Valley and NED, but those are closest tracks. I think their are some 1/8 milers up in Maine.

LV is in NY (near Albany). It just past the end of the Mass Pike.

There are several car shows south of boston that would be good places. One is held at the Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical School in Easton on Route 106 that is held every other thursday starting in May (I believe). I will find out about others from a few friends and get back to everyone.

as already stated, options are slim. NED is the only one local to me. i might have my new motor together by may. if you go later, maybe ill come play. this is, if you guys don't mind an N/A V8.
