possible MN meet/race?

I'd like to get a MN meet together this summer. Some have expressed interest in racing, crusing, BBQ, etc.
there was talk of a trip to grove creek( 1/8th mile), or rock falls(1/4 mile). or cedar falls(1/4 mile), or maybe interstate(1/4 mile) or just a car show or something?

Who would all be interested, and what would you guys like to do?

there was talk of a meet, BBQ, then cruise out to grove creek for sat night street drags for 35 bucks. could do that on some saturday.

as always there will be people at car craft nationals in july.

what would you guys like to do so we can get something going?

Would likely be sporting Buick power, unless I get my hump in gear and get 689 back
together. Will be testing the Innovate LMA-3 on Buick to get boost, egt, etc. that
Directscan doesn't get.

I'll load up a grill again... camping is still free at the track.

Hey Dig, as long as your dad supplies liquids again...haha. And this time i think i would need more help with the tent. I don't think mine will be making a track visit this year. As far as the logistics for a Bar-B-que...

I'd have it at the house, but unfortunately it's a bit torn up at the moment for remodeling.
That, and I built over-top of most of my back yard.
#689 is getting a new 28'x30' home.

There's a park in town (Sabin), as well as several in Fargo.

Maybe we can get some of the newer folks to show up? I've got at least 1 new local, and
possibly 2.

i looked at the dates, the august one is late but if its 2 days that would be cool.

Something tells me that Mark will not be attending with his hooptie. They know him. Last time b/c he has no cage they told him to cool it or he was out and that was with high 10's. Something tells me he won't make the drive when he can go to cedar falls and rip off a 9 and stay there... That's cool tho. BTW, not lugging your shit up there, unless it fits inside a cooler and a honda!

The Tinmasters dates are all-day test. If there's 2 days listed, they run 2 days, otherwise,
just one. Friday dates are typically evenings.

The regular bracket race weekends are Saturday/Sunday deals, but you usually only
get 2-3 time trials per day, plus however far you get in eliminations. Better bring a quick
shoe... some quick reaction guys up here.

Too bad we can't scrape cash together for a private track rental. (Fairly certian this would
be in the $1000s, though)

Somebody pick a day... July/Aug are typically blistering hot up here. The Aug 12-13
weekend would be good, test-n-tune both days. Only downer would be the heat.

Sept 10 would be killer air... dunno how far out you guys wanna schedule. I'm up for
heading to the cities for BBQ/whatever, also.

Sunni and I are good with August 12-13. I'll present it to her as a late birthday present...again.

I'll make a vow right here to race whatever it is we drive up there. We'll hopefully have the civic sold by then or it could get really embarrassing.

But if you guys decide on something else, that's cool too. The Ty's being poopy, so that more than likely won't be making a trip anywhere anyways.

Neither is mine but I'm sure you've got me covered. Hopefully within the near future I can get someting set up with Dig and we can get it dialed in real good with all the changes we've made. I'm sure it's been several years since the truck has been looked over. Cell is 612-508-6221 don't hesitate to shout me a hollar. I'm always in the area. Truck should be back in one piece within the next week or two.

I don't think Mr. Larson will be heading back to Cedar Falls anytime soon. Last I heard he ripped off a 10.0x with his new hellion turbo setup and the owner was not happy if you know what I'm sayin. Bad-ass car though.

Maybe he could come up and granny shift with the A/C running while eating a sandwich and click of some mid 11's or something. LOL

Sup Dan? Yes we're still waiting on a few parts. Oh well, rather have it done right than have to go back in and tear it apart later. I'd still like to go though. What are you gonna do about the tranny? Atleast your truck is in a safer place now though.
