Dude.. don't you rub up front? Those wheels are crammed up in there... or did you roll em?

It doesn't rub anymore that much, the odd time if i hit a big bump, I Used to have 20" wheels on it and it rubbed all the time, But i would never think of raising it up!!

i have 17x9.5 ZR1 Gm Corvette rims on it now, black centers w/ polished lips, have a few different sets in mind though after i do my brake upgrade. definatly getting some 18s in the future.

Gave her a bath, tinted, lowered, installed some gauges, put rims on, fixed some engine components and took some pictures since shes been good today.

Gave her a bath, tinted, lowered, installed some gauges, put rims on, fixed some engine components and took some pictures since shes been good today.

Are those the wheels off your Royal or did you buy another set? That looks so good! :drool:

thanks yea they are from the royal. The other one is down for the new motor so i figured i would see how they looked on the raspberry.

Washed mine today for the 4th time since being repainted.

Dumb question, but is that the original raspberry metallic color that they supposedly only painted two Ty's up in? Mine is black over black, but my fiancee loves the raspberry metallic and we may be comtemplating a color change a few years into the future.

Yes that is the original color of the ty. The paint has faded some so it's not totally dead on. When i installed the pod you can see what it really looked like. The color under there is what i would call plum purple with tons of metallic flake.

That's a sweet-looking color, I will say...I like my black on black, but that raspberry metallic definitely is an eye-catcher! Definitely a nice-looking Ty! :tup:

Given the opportunity, I would steal those rims off the Raspberry for my own personal use. Just sayin....

Yes that is the original color of the ty. The paint has faded some so it's not totally dead on. When i installed the pod you can see what it really looked like. The color under there is what i would call plum purple with tons of metallic flake.

So today I started creating the brackets to mount the blinkers in the bumper cover. I also worked on straightening out the fog light brackets and mounting them.

I mocked up my stripe as well. Looks like 18" down the bumper and the front of the hood, then 19" at the rear of the hood and then 19" down the roof, and 18" down the tailgate and rollpan.

Then set my hood pins on the hood to see what they would look like and installed the passenger side bumperette.

And the under hood shot with all the blue! WOOOT!
