Mikes engine (SY2932) is 100% tits. Immaculate work.
Thanks
! I have much respect for anyone that does the work themselves since I know how much work it really is. If you think doing stuff is tough in a "regular" engine bay, try doing it in a polished one where you don't want to scratch anything... Kinda weird viewing a thread and seeing a pic of mine that I didn't post
. Here's another pic with a description:
Bob Galla stainless steel turbo to intercooler pipe, HKS Super Sequential BOV with professionally TIG welded steel flange, ATR battery relocated to fender well, remote starter solenoid to eliminate "purple wire", CAS adjustable fuel pressure regulator, fuel pressure and boost senders mounted to firewall in a custom made plate, Summit racing remote transmission filter with transmission temperature, throttle body air foil, intercooler heater hose mod with custom made IC temperature fitting, custom EGR block off plate, Ron Gregory turbo boost gauge fitting, breather on driver's side valve cover, aluminum turnbuckle engine tie down, 160 degree thermostat, K&N cone filter on 3" custom stainless steel adapter pipe with professionally TIG welded bung for passenger side PCV, Baker precision silicone vacuum lines, Mike Lee braided stainless steel remote fuel pressure sender for fuel pressure gauge and aluminum overflow bottle mounted with a custom bracket. ABS and vacuum ball have been deleted. I *think* that is everything...
This is my most recent "mod". It was completed before the SyTy Homecoming meet in MI. Piece of 6061 T6 extruded aluminum decked to .262" thickness. Designed in CAD and CNC'd by myself. It took 2.5 hours to engrave with a .010" tip engraving tip @ 16,000 RPM.
