The removal is progressing...may be a bit slow, but some is better than none.

Today I took the fenderwell out, removed battery tray (need to clean and repaint), two of the IC brackets and the throttle body... Two of the bolts were almost loose too!

Also gave the first go round of PB Blaster to all the necessary bolts/nuts.

One thing I did notice, all of my exhuast is welded. Will it be possible to remove the turbo from the DP, loosen everything and rotate the DP/Exhaust assembly enough to get the manifold out?

I'm okay at removing bolts and things, but everything in and around the turbo is new to me when it comes to removal, so I'll probably leave all of that until Sunday. But hey, at least I have a head start!

Might do the AC & Alternator tomorrow, but depends on how I feel. :lol:

Big thanks to Aaron and Mike! I would defintely say the wrencher was a good one. Manifold swapped, turbo's okay for now. Ready to do soft IC lines, Intake/Intercooler swapped, good times!

And Aaron, Nadine is in love with your Porsche. She said if I buy her one, she'll learn how to wrench on it herself to keep it going. :tup: where I can find a good one? :rotf: If you can find us one or want to sell one of yours, she'd be glad to get it on her birthday and will forget the whole manifold in the oven thing. :tup: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: She said it would sure beat the Melting Pot. :rotf:

That was a really fun time. I am still sore and parts of me are still kinda f'ed from your radiator but it will all grow back:lol: Next time maybe some more people will show up too. But it was their loss. Lemme know when your having another one and I will surely be there.:tup:

As soon as you have all the hose/clamps/connectors lined up and I get my lower cooler flushed :tup:
