Problem oil in Tb

Hi, I have found out a problem in the TY. Having passed 30ml after rebuild engine, at me the dark blue smoke began to go. I have removed TB and have found out there traces of oil. First has thought that it from PCv or turbines. Has disconnected them and start engine again, but oils has appeared again, who can help where to search for a problem. What for apertures in the bottom photo, in it there is an oil? EGR is block off.
Thanks.

Re: Problem oil in Tb

i had a similar problem, i was getting oil residue inside my crossover, and a puddle in the orange turbo elbow. It ended up coming from the driver side valve cover tube. I opened my airbox, and the entire thing was covered in oil residue. So i put a breather on the valve cover, and capped the port on my airbox. Havent seen oil residue since.

It must have been sucking oil out of the valve cover into the airbox. And the best part is, the port which the vent hose goes onto the airbox, is located after the filter. So when mine was sucking oil (residue) outta the valve covers into the airbox, it was bypassing my air filter and entering straight into the crossover. (Stock design)

i use a pcv catch can. i think there is something else wrong if you are getting that much oil because i only drain mine about every oil change. i'd replace the pcv valves.

there's really only two places it can come from: the turbo or the pcv system (most common problem)

at me the dark blue smoke began to go

what does this mean?

If you are getting heavy blue smoke while driving I would venture to say that is more oil burning than would come through the PCV. That would point me to the turbo seals.

Pull the line between the turbo and intercooler and see how much oil is in there.

No oil.
The passenger party 2 PCV valves are established In stock, I have one, you how many use?

I just pulled the piping from the turbo (exiting turbo, which heads for the IC), and there was LOTS of oil. I just bought this 'Phoon, and it's not making any boost whatsoever. Well, maybe 1 lb....and of course NO power. That's means the turbo is toasted, right?

Re: Problem oil in Tb

yup, sounds like the seals are toast.

Take it out and get a 20G or just have that one converted.
Waller has many options for rebuilding stock turbos.
