Thanks, Setting out there with a bucket of soap and water and a knuckle brush this morning getting all the grease off before painting it was not to fun. But it looks great now.

engine is in. Here is also a pic of the harness all labeled up. I have a great idea to hide the harness. I will post pics in a couple days.

Not gonna leak. The way I seal things up they don't leak. Its called Ultra Gray on everything. Both side every gasket. Half the time I don't even use gaskets, just ultra gray.

*** UPDATE ***

Well, with all the extra time I have had lately I have finished up about everything. Motor is in and all front acc. are on. Exhaust is on, minus the downpipe due to not haveing the turbo yet :) I am waiting on the manifold to be finished up (Bungs welded in). Other than that I guess I will try out the race seats and harnesses and see if I like them installed or not. Time to order the cowl hood and new wheels and tires to finish this thing off right. Will get some pics soon.

Even more impressive is the fact that you are doing this without a garage.

He has a garage, but it is really small. A lot of times it is easier to roll the truck out to work on it.

Yes, I do have a garage. Its 10 x 20 and has to hold everything. All parts, hoist, engine stand, cabinets, tools, air compressor, two tables to work on. You name it. I can't even get the truck all the way inside. I just roll the truck outside and work on it there. You can't even pull the truck in and open both doors. Unlike some people (Six-is-enough) that can drive into his garage, turn completely around without having to use reverse and come out one of his choice of doors.

His trailor for his race car has more room in it than my garage. :p

Thats OK though. Will all the mods and time I have put in this truck now, I should be able to give his stock a$$ truck a run for its money.

Re: Project 10's : Daily Driven

You totally have to use reverse in Jeremy Garage :D :D

I'll be there Saturday, and will check to see for certain.

I do have to give John B. some credit though. he does ALOT of work for the space he has.

Valve covers showed up this morning. Still waiting on bungs to be welded into manifold then I will hide all the wiring once I get the throttle body and injectors inplace. I love all the extra room. Its nice to be able to change your spark plugs from the top without having to remove anything. :p

John looks really good. I know you are waiting on the turbo, are you doing anythin with the manifolds? It's soo clean in there the manifolds just stick out. Maybe high temp paint them / swain coating? Keep the updates coming.

Not that im picking at your work man, but shouldnt that adjustable link for belt tensioning be to the back side of the alt? just seems like it would put things in a bind that way. But where did you get the parts for that link? I want to do this mod to my SY.

I am waiting on the high temp coating from Eastwood actually. They will look good once I am finished with them. Thanks

As for the alt tensioner. It will not fit on the back side. I wish it would. Its not in the way there actually. I drove it like that all summer when it ran :) .

The tensioner rod is from a adjustabile power steering bracket from summit. I know summit also sells the rod ends cheap in right hand and left hand thread if you want to make your own. The 3/8's are like $4.88 a piece with jam nut.
