Project "TURBONOMA" begins

Hello one and all.Just wanted to introduce myself and my project.I have a 98 ext.cab Sonoma in which I'm installing a Mach Perf.
marine stage III engine/ heads along with his Airwerks tangential turbo kit.
I've heard alot of great things about this site especially the tech help and just a super place to hang out and trade info.Looking foward to making good friends.Check out the project. PEACE>Tony

welcome Tony...this will be great reference for all the people that frequently pop in asking how to turbo their second gen trucks...i use the hotrodders.com search engine all the time...some great general info in there and quite a few machinists as well...your title says your project "begins"....looks to me like you're almost ready to drive that truck... :wink:

Bill at Mach sure does make some nice stuff.

He's been selling those headers for a couple years now. There is a link to his website on the front of sportmachines.com

marty my atr headers have about had it.

do you know if these headrers place the turbo mount flange at the same spot as atr?

do they have the same issues as atr headers?

hopefully atr doesnt make them and he resells them....

Okay

Nope - ATR doesn't make them - Bill makes them in house

Not sure about the location you will have to call Bill

Material - I don't think they are stainless so they will last longer on the street.

Give him a call and please post what he tell ya.

i understand...your into quite a project that should be bad ass and big bucks when its done....let us know when you do make progress...i'd love to see smoke the hell out of the tires on video...good luck

Just another plug for bill he did my machine work on my block excellent attention to detail. Ill call him tomorrow about the headers.
