yes I got it. I took it off cause core/new trannies dont come supplied with them. I know my Jasper trans has absoltely nothing on it, you have to swap everything over.

either way, I should hopefully be picking up my trans this weekend, I couldnt remember if I needed that adaptor or it had one on it, so I removed it. If I dont need it, ill get it to you.

morgan,
what are you using to clean your aluminum? Looks sandblasted?
depends on what pieces your talking about. the intakes and wheels were just stripped and power washed, other things were just degreased.

Morgan, you are an animal!!!! How much time do you put into this ty everyday? I wish I had the motivation to put that much time into cleaning my Ty engine compartment...

Glad to see someone else tries to keep all the tools that they are using at the moment on top of the core support... LOL. I got tired of fishing tools out of the bumper/engine compartment and just roll the tool box up next to my truck (its not really that far though since my garage is so small I gotta go outside to change my mind).

whenever im not at work or with the g/f, im workin on it. Usually on a weekday, about 3 - 4 hours and most of my Sundays. Today I have off for the holiday. There is a slim chance I "could" have it running by evening, so we'll see.

You know...I see a photo like this and it pisses me off. You know why? My truck was missing a boost solenoid when I bought it. I ordered one and I see this photo w/ bolts in the turbo for the boost solenoid...why would that piss me off?

My turbo has no holes drilled where those bolts are threaded in.

If it's not one thing it's another. Guess that's a reason for a GT61 Turbo kit.

I have to agree with Dave on this one. Damn dude, you're a machine! Wish I had that motivation. I'm sitting on my ass, because I don't want to go outside and fix my intercooler pump. Meanwhile, you've probobly reassembled half the motor. Anyway, looks like it's comin along great. You're doing a sweet job.

I saw earlier, on page 1 or 2 of the thread, you guys were talking about selling it or what it's worth but I don't remember seeing you respond with your plans for the truck. I read that you want to put it back to as stock as possible, but then what? Keep it, sell it, not sure yet?
