Propshaft difference???

Can anyone tell me the difference between the Gilbert and Prime Gear proshaft? The Gilbert removes the fitting on the front diff. and the Prime Gear still retians it. Is this any kind of weak point?

you stated the difference, prime gear is a direct bolt on where the gilbert changes the input flange on the front diff. I would not say there is any weakness between the two

I don't recall ever hearing anybody break either one of them yet in a syty so eitherway you can't go wrong
