Find a Olds Bravada, better shaft that the stocker but at junkyard prices. And it's rebuildable when you need to.

All Bravadas are AWD (just like us!), so the 1st Gen Bravada is the best option for a cheap stock replacement.

Re: PropShaft

ok ill let you know.. Im gonna check with that site as they have a ton of them from 75 to 100 In A Grade Condition. Would you happen to know if it makes a diffrence if i had to use a specific one or will it not matter? because some say 4x4 and others say AWD please let me know your input.

I think the ones that say 4x4 are the yards not knowing the intricacies of the cars they part out. Make sure you select "Front Driveshaft" for the part.

Re: PropShaft

Be sure to get a propshaft safety loop when you put one in. The bravada propshaft still has the double cardan joint that can be problematic in many case when it breaks it takes out the transmission case...

Can you eliminate that fault by upgrading the u-joints with better Spicer/Dana units?

Re: PropShaft

I don't know, it is a better unit than ours without having the rubber boot but I am not sure what breaks. I will have to look at some old posts.
