Protecting frame on a restoration?

Would the recommendations made (regarding painting a rusty frame with por-15) also work for an open metal 2-axle car trailer? Would love to keep it "shiny" but parking it outdoors causes rust/fading/dirt/grime.

Yeah I think it would help your trailer, I can't say enough about the stuff (por-15) and I really look forward to doing a body-off on my Ty and using it.

i read about rustbullet the other day...sounds pretty good...might order it...i sure hope i can get away with only pressure washing my frame versus sandblasting...

Yep -- that's partly why I'm looking at it.

Just wanted to get some real-life feedback from someone who's had it on a while.
