Last week I sold my 6262 and purchased a 6466 from ( proptop) a well know member on here . He’s really helped me a lot with my truck and I’d like to say he’s one of the most solid guys I’ve talked to. If your looking to make 25psi or more on e85 or race gas then this is the turbo for you. I finally got it running today at steady 27psi and thing feels like a beast. I had it at 23psi and it felt stronger then the 6262 . But today I decided to turn it up to 27 and that’s when I noticed a huge bump In power . I’m 2wd drive now but I drive around in my slicks because I barely drive the car . I jumped on the freeway at 65-70mph , I stab it and it spins for about 1-2 seconds grabs traction and moves out quickly . Very quick spool. I don’t use manual or electronic boost controllers. I have had the best luck since the beginning with a wastegate actuator and turning the rod in or out to lower or increase boost . I’m on e85 so I always leave it on high boost once I find the right number . I have a lighter truck so that also helps but this turbo is a huge difference from the 6262 I previously had and best part is that you have room to grow . If anybody has a syty housing right now you guys are in luck because you can always send it back to Precision to get a bigger compressor or exhaust wheel. PTE has run out of these housing so their really hard to find now . I’d say if you want to run Conservative boost stay with a 6262 because it does spool up faster at lower boost levels .
