any of you guys have the old Suspension Techniques rear sway bar for the Ty??

If so, can you post some install pics? I bought a used one about 7 years and never installed it, but I feel like I'm missing something... or is everything here?

How different is it from the Beltech one? Looks like you are missing the 90* pieces that bolt to the sides of the frame and that the two ends of the sway bar press down into. The two ends in the pic above with the red poly bushes press down onto the brackets.

Is it missing anything? Or does it mount like the one in "ASMO's" sale thread of his ty?

That looks like it's rotated too far forward. From what I remember, the hoop should be right under the pumpkin.

hmmm.... I had the Addco on my Syclone and that didn't have any 45* bracket thingies. If the one in the photo is indeed the ST bar then it looks like i'm missing some longer bolts to go in the ends that mount to the frame. The addco bar had some longer bolts as well, so maybe that's what i'm missing...

I tried emailing ST about 4 different times and have yet to get a response from them. I might just call them tomorrow and see what i can find out... that is IF they'll even help me.

PS yeah GM Turbo that definitely looks too far forward in the photo, the U bolts should be facing down. Maybe that photo is on a lift??

My syclone bar had those stubby end links. I believe they are for lowered vehicles...mine worked fine.

The one on the Syclone was different from the Ty - again if I'm not mistaken. I believe the bar is the same but the frame mounts were different.

Someone mentions old school and I get excited then I realize how much I've forgotten ;)

This is the image from Summit. See the small black brackets, those are what you're missing.

Just got off the phone... the guy there was nice enough to hook me up with just the brackets instead of having to buy the whole hardware kit for $100, and emailed me a pdf of the install directions. Pretty solid support for a discontinued product they aren't making hardly any money on.

Thanks GM for posting the pic! Saved me some $$$ :D

Glad I could help.

Is it possible for you to host/post the install instructions? This question seems to come up every once and awhile.
