question for those with RPM replacement turbo water lines

the coolant outlet by the starter right above the oil pan... does the stock fitting that screws into the block need to come out? Or is the fitting from the new line supposed to screw into the one that's already there?

really? I could not get that damn fitting to thread on there... hard as hell to get my hand in there to even mess with it. I'll give it another shot tomorrow.
