Quick question on resetting the ECU

Does leaving the battery unplugged for 2 days reset the ECU? I just did a cap & rotor, plugs and wires change. Didn't know if I also needed to reset the ECU.

you can also take out the ECM fuses, and it will be reset in a couple of min.
