I have no idea what size the bike but all I know is its a GSXR. Sorry Im not too familiar with bikes. This guy used to live across from me in my townhome complex. He was always out doing mods and revving his cheesy engine all the time. Nice guy though. We talked a few times about racing each other but never saw him much on the streets and if I did there was way too much traffic around. So yesturday, I pull up to a light and I had a friend with me and told him watch this...I look over and its my old neighbor. So I ask him, how long will it take you to pass me? He says, you tell me. I say 5 secs. Now this guy told me he has one of the fastest of whatever bike he has in town cause everythign hes done to it. So i spool her up and leave the line with 16psi. It was a nice laucnh, hooked up right off the bat and everything. He didnt pass me for about 9-10 seconds. Or so it seemed. I wasnt relly counting but he didnt do as good as I had thoguht. It was fun though.

Nice race.
So, I take it this guy knew he was going to lose to you for a while?
About how fast were you going before he passed you?

Sounds like a GSXR1000.. this would mean that 90% of owners would take off slowly because 1st gear you have to baby or the bike will fly away. If he passed you at about 70mph, he was still in 1st gear and had 5 more gears to go. My old 99 CBR900RR went to 70-75mph in 1st gear and its not a fast bike to todays standards.

Anyway, always feels good to mess with the fast guys, especially the cocky bike guys. they will never believe a little truck can beat em, even off the line! haha.. Nice job.

Too bad you don't live in the Bay Area. I'd race you on my GSX-R 750. I doubt you'd even get the holeshot, seriously. Bikes can launch hard too if you know how to ride them. Basically, they do 0-60 in the high 2's with a good rider. Post a video next time...
