It's always ready for battle. I got some new tires, and did an ignition tune-up last week. So I should be good.

This is great... I should be arriving mid afternoon friday but probably will not go to the fairgrounds the friday night but would love to go to the track. Just need the meet up place for the group drive to the track.

Just a quick note about the track make sure you have a pair of jeans or pants and shoes, sneakers or boots. Last year when we went you need both to race. So a heads up.

Won't be there of course but a fun way to compete is after some time runs do a dial in and the best "package" wins. Out here at Sonoma on the weekends they do a "run for the money" on the last time run, $10.00 buy in. The the winner gets half and the remainder goes to a charity.

Years ago one of the announcers used to give away a $2.00 bill if you had a .002 light in eliminations.:rotf:

i wasnt even aware of a truck shootout. Is it listed anywhere?

Brandon check on the Carlisle site. Some how it popped up on my phone was being advertised by the diesel guys .Diesels vr gasers. $35 Pay in and winner takes all. I think pinky could be competive in the stock class. But I cant finde rules or classes. I think Tom Joy said he is interested.
