Well my brother is home from the Navy and is getting married. We have a bet to see whose truck is faster. The Tbss 06 Rwd 50k efans, 3200 stall, trans cooler, intake, tune, res delete, billet servos. Its a fast truck I got it to run a 13.2 but he cant drive it like me. The ty 124k Turbo tweak tune, Rpm intake, Rpm wires, ngk plugs, taylor cap and rotor, Egr delete, HKS Bov, new vac line kit, lowered w belltech, bilstiens shocks, new fuel pump, some kind of after market exhaust, billet tie down, lower intercooler scoop, newer trans less than 10k. I have never had the ty to the track so I do not know what it will run. So what do you think

i think the typhoon will take it easy at launch and it depends how far you race maybe at top end tbss can catch up

Unless your Typhoon is running 100 percent and the tune is dead on I doubt you'll run a 13.2 with it. The only advantage you will have is AWD on the street. Could be a coin toss

my ty is running great right now no problems at all, the only thing is I taught my brother how to use a stall but i think he still has no clue how to launch it

I think I'm gonna have to give this one to the TBSS. My buddy has one that runs 13.20's and doesn't spin at all coming out of the hole. I'm really impressed with how quick it is. Basically has the same mods that your brothers does. I don't think you'll get out in front far enough to hold it. Should be a good race though.

the ty . leave with 10-12 lbs boost , you'll eat his lunch . not to hate ,, gm guy all the way here , go for it!

I have seen a few stock Ty's with an Ultimate chip( and supporting mods) running low 13.0-1. So its possible. Stock Typhoon should run high 13's stock, if everything is working properly and its boost launched properly (rev in neutral to build vacuum in the brakes), but these truck are getting old. I have no idea on your tune or turbo tweak tune.

My bone-stock Ty with BBZB chip went 13.1X repeatedly.

Good luck and dont break anything!

tbss should be in the mid-high 13s with those mods. the ty stock will be high 13s low 14s so tbss all the way for sure.
