RADIATOR QUESTION

LIL accident today and busted my radiator....question #1 is the factory rad the same as a 4.3 blazer?? And is there an aftermarket upgrade that is a direct bolt in?? Any input??? O and I need a new fan, is that the same as the blazer, and is there a better bolt on out there. A Quiet one of course!

I AssUMe the 4x4 S10/S15 Blazer/Jimmy have the same SyTy rad???

Both of mine have Oil cooling with the same PN Oil lines.

To me they look the same, but I haven't taken them both out and compared directly.

Went out and looked at my 91 Blazer 4x4 and Brian's 92 Ty....

They are IDENTICAL radiators. Both have "124" on the PS end tank, the heater hose connection is the same as is the tranny lines and oil lines.

Sorry Ken, you're wrong.... I think :wink:

As far as I can tell the one on my 92 blazer is identical to the one on my ty... Heater hose location is the same... Even if it were different I am sure you could make it fit....

ok i called gm parts place by my house, they said there are 2 rads listed, 4.3 vortech, and 4.3 non vortech....anyone want to take a guess on which one, cause your guess is as good as mine. thanks

griffen make bolt ins for the trucks.

R U sure it is a "bolt-in" ? The one I got is thicker and I have had to Mod the shit out of everything to install it.
