Why not use ABS? I have made quite a few radio deletes, not just for SYTY's, but other vehicles too. The ABS looks nice, inexpensive, sturdy to mount just about anything, and can be textured or smooth. I like it because for a SY, it blends right in with the black interior.

It can also be thermoformed VERY easily. This is High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS) but you get the picture:

This is the part on the mold after it has be die cut (left on mold to protect it).

Meh, there probably wouldn't be enough interest to even bother. No one is going to make a mold just to make 2-3 parts at best...

Lets figuire this out, i will need the center bezel for a template as i said in one of my previous posts. Ill do it for you guys, it would be nice to do 5 or so to get the cost down some. Im cool with doing this as long as sy2932 doesnt care. LMK sy2932. Im prettty busy with other stuff for the quads right now, but i can find some time somewhere...

Nah go ahead and do whatcha want :). I'm officially out of the parts making biz anyways since my boss said that I can only make stuff that is for my truck. If it is for others, the price quoted would be the same if they were anyone off the street looking to have a mold made. By the time you paid for the design time, material, machine time, setup, forming and then secondary machining, they would be a few hundred dollars a piece...

I made this before and it was pretty easy . One in cf would be just as simple and shouldnt be hard to pump a bunch out for cheap .

I dont think it will cost too much, someone put up some pics of the backside of the radio panel please. i would but well... Oh, no truck in the driveway ( thx dad ) Anyways get some pics up, someone pm me and get a part template to me so we can get rollin. I would like to get at least 5 of these out to you guys. Robb
