These pics were taken at GM's private herritage museum, this syclone was set aside for GM employees particularly designers who go to the museum to see cars with insparational styling, my parents got me in since they are both engineers :) .......Enjoy

Actually, its not a true Syclone, but a sonoma turned into Syclone. They were used for promotional events for dealers to come and race the trucks at the track and pit themselves against Don the Snake.

One of them now resides in Cali.
Thanks for sharing...nice pics.

The woodie in the background has cardboard underneath it also. I think it's a g.m. option. Guess they don't want to ruin the carpet.

The Sy challenge trucks are considered conversion/pilot/prototype trucks, they dont have the same 1GDC VIN sequence as the production trucks.

Just because it don't have the same VIN sequence as the production trucks, don't mean it's not a Syclone. You haven't actually been to this museum, so you can't say it's not a Syclone. Shall I do a poll?

read what i said again in my first post.... its not a true syclone. its a conversion truck. no where did i deny saying it wasnt a syclone at all, its just not considered a production truck syclone.....but hey, you've been wanting to argue everything lately.

Who are you, to make the decision, to say if it's a true Syclone or not? What kind of conversion truck is it then? SYCLONE! If it's not considered a production truck then why did they produce 3 of them? . I have read some of you're posts and you do a lot of arguing yourself. After all, you started the arguement, after the first post. Hippocrititacle, don't you think? :2cents:

Adam is right. The regular production SyTy all start with 1GDCT... This one has a VIN I have seen on other prototype trucks.

Re: Rare white gmc syclone pics taken at GM's private herritage museum

Seeing the cars in the background reminds me I saw a Pontiac Safari the other day. Pontiac ver of the Chev Nomad with much fewer produced. Living in the wine country (read $$$) if I get to see half the cars that I've heard of and know are tucked away in this county I'd be a happy camper. All the way from a Stutz Bearcat to new Ferrari's.

Just one example, and I happen to know this guy. For you NorCal guys he'll be at Sacramento this weekend.

And, of course, one Syclone...
